Swine Flu (THE H1N1 VIRUS) Facts, History, Symptoms And Precuations

Swine flu is also known by 2009 H1N1 (A) type influenza which is a human disease. People get swine flu disease from other people but not from pigs.
The disease was named swine flu because the virus that causes this disease originally comes to humans from the pigs in which it is evolved.

Swine flu are like regular flu symptoms and generally include:-
  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose
  • Body aches
  • Headache
  • Chills
  • Fatigue.
But these are are the symptoms that can also be caused by many other disease.

                  This means that your doctor can't know, just based on your symptoms. If you are infected with swine flu Health care doctors may offer a rapid flu test, although a negative result does not mean that you don't have the H1N1.
But certain groups of folks are at high risk of this disease.
  1. Pregnant women are six times more likely to have swine flu disease than women who are not pregnant.
  2. Children those under 2 years of age
  3. People infected asthma.
  4. People who have other chronic lung conditions
  5. People who have liver problems
  6. People having neurologic disorders
  7. People who have neuromuscular disorders
  8. People infected metabolic disorders also including diabetes

Precuations :-
  1. BE AWAY FROM PEOPLE WHO SHOWS YOU SIGNS OF H1N1.
  2. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH WITH YOUR HANDS.
  3. YOU MAY TOUCH THE SURFACE ON WHICH THE PERSON MAY HAVE EARLIER COUGHED OR SNEEZED.
  4. WASH YOUR HANDS CAREFULLY AND FREQUENTLY.
  5. PEOPLE WHO HAVE KIDNEY PROBLEM.
