The Hindi world Rupia is derived from the ancient Indian Sanskrit language which means a coin of silver. The history of Indian rupee traces back to ancient India 6th century BC.
But it is believed that Indian rupee was introduced by emperor Sher Shah Suri (1486–1545. From India freedom in 1947, there is a big difference in Indian currency with the comparison of dollar which is shown as under just have a look.
